    Days 1–2

    System connection & data import

    We connect Checkfirst to your existing work order management system via API or CSV import. Your inspector roster, certification records, and geographic data are imported. This takes 1–2 business days.

    Days 3–5

    Constraint configuration

    Your Checkfirst implementation specialist works with your ops team to configure scheduling constraints: certification requirements per job type, impartiality rules, geographic zones, availability policies, and client-specific preferences.

    Days 6–10

    Pilot scheduling run

    Checkfirst runs a pilot week alongside your existing process. Your ops team reviews the AI-generated schedule, provides feedback, and we tune the assignment algorithm to match your preferences. Typical iteration: 1–2 adjustment sessions.

    Day 10+

    Go live with full automation

    Checkfirst takes over scheduling. Your ops team reviews the weekly schedule, approves or adjusts exceptions, and handles escalations. Typically 2–4 hours per week versus 20–40 hours previously.

Implementation FAQ

Most customers are fully live within 10–14 business days. The timeline depends on your existing data quality and the complexity of your constraint rules. Customers with clean inspector rosters and straightforward job types go live faster.

Checkfirst is a cloud-hosted SaaS platform. For customers with strict data residency requirements, we offer EU-region hosting with data processing agreements compliant with GDPR. On-premise deployment is on the roadmap but not currently available.

We support CSV-based imports alongside API integrations. If your current system can export a weekly CSV of upcoming jobs, Checkfirst can ingest that automatically via our managed file transfer connector. We've handled migrations from older TIC-specific platforms, Excel-based scheduling, and multiple ERP systems.

Yes. Every AI-generated assignment can be reviewed and manually overridden by your ops team before confirmation. Override decisions are logged with a reason code for audit purposes. The AI learns from your overrides over time to improve future suggestions.

All plans include dedicated onboarding support and email/chat support. Growth and Enterprise plans include a named customer success manager and quarterly business reviews. We also run a customer community forum where TIC ops teams share scheduling best practices.
